The 2018 Giapoza Pinot Noir is a clear, bright ruby red in the glass. The nose is delicately perfumed with rose petals, orange peel, subtle spiciness of a mission fig, a dusting of cocoa powder and a touch of French oak barrel spice. In the mouth, the wine is dense and layered, with flavors of juicy strawberries, candied orange peel, lightly roasted coffee, and a hint of cardamom and cinnamon lasting through the finish.
